Look! I have written my first book! I said and handed the proof to the shallow “friend” (we have kids in the same school, and he’s always letting everybody know all the cool things he’s done, are doing, or about to do).

“Good for you!”

“I know! I am so sharp and skilled in everything I do. Check the cover!”

“Nice. You know I …”

“Wait! Check the eyes. Do you see who it is?”

“It’s your eyes. But you know I …”

“Glad you can see it. Do you know what KG stands for?”

“Um … no. But you know I …”

“You might think it’s Karl Gunnar. But it is not. Guess!”

“I do not know. But you know I …”

“Come on. KG! It’s really simple!”

“Kurt Gottfried? Anyway. You know I …”

“Hahaha! Gottfrid? Incredibly fun. But that’s wrong. Another thing I want you to pay attention to is… what do you think about the title!”

“Revealing. But you know I …”

“Everything Sucks! It seems so spot on! Was thinking about another name but this title hit home immediately. Well, what do you say? My own book!”

“Cool. But you know I’ve written three already?”

“Oh …”

The feeling when you think you are a unique creative young man who debuts as an author and the first one you brag about the book for is a compulsive damn mass-producing written word abuser!

That feeling!
